Editorial policy
Movement Pulse is a synthesis section. Each piece draws on outside reporting, research, and method news from the last seven days, then adds a practitioner's perspective from Chava Sorani, GCFP, on what it means for people living with the condition.
Sourcing
We prioritize peer-reviewed research and reporting from established health desks (PubMed, leading academic journals, major newspapers' health sections, established science publications). We also draw on the Feldenkrais Guild of North America, the International Feldenkrais Federation, and practitioner-community publications when covering method news. Every piece links to its primary sources both inline and in a numbered list at the foot of the article.
How we add value
We don't summarize for the sake of summarizing. Each Movement Pulse piece carries one of a handful of "added-value" layers: a practitioner translation ("what this means in a Feldenkrais session"), a headline-vs-reality check, a short movement experiment to try, a set of questions worth raising with a doctor, a method-comparison angle, or a long-arc synthesis across multiple studies. The goal is to give you something the original source didn't.
How pieces are made
Candidates are gathered with AI-assisted discovery, reviewed and approved by the Feldy editorial team.
Not medical advice
Movement Pulse is informational only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified healthcare provider. If you have a medical concern, please consult a clinician.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, please email hello@feldy.me with the article title and the correction. We update pieces when warranted and note material changes inline.
Affiliations & conflicts
Movement Pulse covers research and news that may favorably or unfavorably reference the Feldenkrais Method. We disclose this affiliation openly: Feldy is a Feldenkrais program, and Chava is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner. We try to report findings accurately whether or not they support that point of view.
