Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Feldy (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website (feldy.me), web application (app.feldy.me), and related services (the “Service”).

By using Feldy, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Info: First name, email address, or phone number.
  • Personalization: Year of birth (for age-appropriate content), preferred practice time, and timezone.
  • Payment Info: Processed securely by Lemon Squeezy; we do not store credit card details.
  • Usage Data: Selected goals, physical/mental well-being preferences, lesson progress, and favorites.
  • Quiz Answers: Movement Match quiz answers (age range, gender, activity level, and selected conditions) and fit-quiz answers (such as when your back bothers you and what you’ve tried) to generate personalized results.
  • Free Trial: When you start a free trial, we collect your name and email to create your account and send your trial emails. If you take a quiz before creating an account, we store your answers against a device identifier and may associate them with your account when you sign up, so we can tailor your trial.

1.2 Sensitive Information & Health Data

Certain information you provide (such as physical conditions or well-being goals) may be considered health-related or sensitive data under applicable law. By providing this information to personalize your experience, you give your explicit consent for Feldy to process this data solely for providing recommendations. Some quiz answers describe your body or symptoms and may also be health-related; the same consent applies. You may remove this information at any time via your profile settings, or by deleting your account.

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

We collect usage patterns, device types, IP addresses (general location), and cookies to keep you logged in and analyze Service performance.

When you access certain features (such as the free trial lesson), we may derive your approximate country and city from your IP address to improve our service and understand our audience. We do not store your IP address itself.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide the Service: Create accounts, process payments, and deliver audio lessons.
  • Personalize Experience: Recommend lessons based on your preferences and progress.
  • Communicate: Send transactional emails (receipts, magic links), practice reminders, and free-trial emails (sign-in link, reminders, and messages about continuing with Feldy).
  • Legal: Comply with applicable tax and data-protection laws.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with trusted providers only:

  • Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing.
  • Supabase: Secure database and authentication.
  • Vercel: Website hosting.
  • Resend: Email delivery.

4. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data-protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access & Portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Correction & Deletion: Update or request the erasure of your personal data.
  • Withdraw Consent: Opt out of marketing or reminders at any time.

5. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: Data is retained while your account is active.
  • Inactive Accounts: After 3 years of inactivity, we may delete your account.
  • Free Trial Records: Trial sign-up details (email, attribution, and quiz answers) are retained under the same rules and removed when you delete your account.
  • Legal Requirements: Payment records are retained for 7 years for tax/accounting purposes as required by applicable tax law.

6. Data Security

We implement HTTPS/TLS encryption, hashed passwords, and regular backups. While we use reputable providers (Supabase, Lemon Squeezy) with industry-standard security, no transmission is 100% secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on servers in the US and EU. We ensure these transfers comply with applicable data-protection laws, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

8. Children’s Privacy

Feldy is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Marketing & Communications

  • Transactional Emails: Necessary for service (receipts, login links); cannot be opted out of.
  • Marketing Emails: You can unsubscribe at any time via the “unsubscribe” link.
  • Practice Reminders: These are strictly opt-in only.
  • Free Trial Emails: These are part of the free trial. You can stop them using the unsubscribe link in the email, or by deleting your account, which ends the trial.
